A Futaoki Is A Small Bracket Used To Secure The Lid Of A Cauldron Or Place A Stirrup. They Are Usually Made Of Bamboo, Ceramic Or Metal And Come In Many Shapes And Styles. While Metal And Ceramic Nikoyaki Can Be Quite Ornate And Are Considered More Formal, The Common And Basic Bamboo Type Is Essentially Unadorned And Is The Least Formal Style.
